Steven J Magner’s interest in photography started at a young age when his grandmother bought him Fujifilm MX-1200 for Christmas in 1999. From that day forward Steven began taking photos of wildlife and landscapes in his hometown of Weston, Connecticut.
After moving to San Francisco to study business, Steven moved to Los Angeles in 2009 to begin work as a graphic designer in the world of real estate which is where he was first introduced to the art of architectural photography. Growing increasingly interested in being behind the lens and on his feet instead of touching up others work in a studio Steven bought himself a Canon 7D in 2014 and hit the ground running.
Architectural photography in Los Angeles comes in all shapes and sizes. Whether it be a condo in West Hollywood, a single family home in Westchester, or an estate property in Studio City each is work of art in it’s own right. However, the challenge in architectural photography, especially real estate photography, is to present each property as though it has the largest welcome sign known to man. That is the kind of dedication you should expect when working with Steven.
Steven’s work has been featured in the LA Times Hot Property, Today.com, HGTV, Elle Decor and many more.
